The South Jeolla Provincial Headquarters of the KSME announced on the 19th that it has selected four K-to-Preliminary Unicorn candidates.


The Regional K-Preliminary Unicorn Development Project, which began in 2020, is a project to accelerate the value industry through intensive support such as policy funds, investment, exports, and manpower to find promising companies that operate government strategic and regional major industries.

The regional K-preliminary Unicorn will be fostered in a running manner by collaborating with local related agencies and start-up investment companies through the entire process from candidate companies “discovery” to “linked support.” It plans to support the establishment of a virtuous cycle of private-led venture investment by providing various opportunities to meet private investors to promising companies in the non-metropolitan area that lack investment opportunities.

Four promising growth companies are Low Carbon Co., Ltd., Vincennes Co., Ltd., FlowOne Co., Ltd., and Excel Co., Ltd.
